For more than 22 years, Elizabeth Garvin has led the HR Department at Certified Languages International, helping grow the company’s workforce from 10 employees to more than 260. Elizabeth went from being a one-person department to becoming the director of a four-person HR team that supports a large and growing cohort of employees. Current treasurer of the Oregon SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) state council, Elizabeth says the confidence and training she gained through the council was key to her professional growth.
